Hello there folks of R4R!

I have a lot I can say right here, but I find it hard to put to words exactly what I'm looking for. A recent quick and I thought wonderful connection of mine fizzled before we could develop, and it's got me running through a list in my head of what could've gone wrong. Sometimes people don't work out, I suppose, but I'm trying again to find that spark again with someone who "gets me."

If romance blossoms that's great, but I am not necessarily looking for that within an online, long-distance space to be honest.

But I digress, I'm a work in progress in many ways, as we all are, and I care deeply about both mental and physical betterment. It's a topic near and dear to my hear (though I could certainly practice what I preach more).

I'll try to keep it brief because I am frankly an essay-texter, and feel like it can overwhelm some people!

I am generally a nerdy guy, but I don't subscribe to labels and love people passionate about any kind of topics to yap about at length. As for some interests:

• Books/Writing - Probably my main creative outlet. I love writing novels and short stories and typically I write about fantastical concepts. Though I don't like "typical" fantasy. I come with infinite book recs from a slowly collapsing overworked bookshelf.

• Nature - My brain is comprised of 80% ocean facts. I love nature, am a big advocate for it, but should actually get out there and into the weeds (heh) more often.

• Philosophy/psychology/politics - Highly interested in deep chats and learning about the core of a person.

• Spirituality - I am a downright non-believer and logical person and yet am very much drawn to things like Astrology, spirituality, and things like Tarot. I love to learn about others' experiences. Share your ghost stories!

• Art/Animation - Really respect artists both digital and otherwise and tend to follow quite a few. Animation has always intrigued me and I love trying it out. Certainly a manga/anime lover though I try not to make that my whole personality... which I'd like to think it's not.

• Gaming - Yeah. What can I say. I'm a big ol' nerd. I play mostly singleplayer games; lots of little indies and roguelikes. Pretty damn obsessed with Expedition 33 of late.

I have a lot of other hobbies I've kind of collected over the years but am happy to chat and learn more as we go!

Appearance wise I'm 5'7", blue-green eyes, curly brown hair. Strong but on the chubbier side. I'm active, and health and fitness is important to me as I've been on a bit of a weight loss journey and I do love chatting about these topics with those who are knowledgeable as well.
