Are random yellow spots on the leg bad?

Before you ask yes I posted in a health subreddit but they kept deleting my post so now I’m here, I noticed 3 random yellow spots on my leg and when o went to tell my family, they made fun of me for thinking it’s a bad thing, and after some research I think it’s ether jaundice or the liver making the skin yellow due to too much stress recently
