Devastated by my post op shape

Advice (NO MEDICAL ADVICE)

I can’t stop crying. I am devastated by my post op breast shape.

Prior to surgery I was a 34G, now at 9wpo I am closer to a 34D/DD. I have a wide root and the way the surgeon did my reduction has left me with an incredibly shallow breast. I’m now experiencing severe body dysmorphia. My shape is nothing like the reference photos I showed him (the photos were of people with wide roots) He told me he would keep the general shape of my breasts just smaller but that can’t be further from the truth.

To make matters worse my inframammary fold dropped about an inch after my surgery and without any projection my scar is very visible. There’s so little projection that my breast tissue won’t even drop enough to cover my inframammary fold as it heals. (meaning they are self supporting).

My surgeon says the shape won’t change at this point or if it does it won’t be substantial.

I don’t know how to approach him about this. I can’t afford a surgery out of pocket to fix this. Implants are out of the question due to health issues. What can I do at this point that will make me not hate my body?
