CoC seven teachings Minion Instability SRS of Enormity Occultist. Cooked?

Theory

Ok, this one seems too viable to be a meme at this point. Im probably overlooking something very obvious, so please do let me know.

How we got here:

Core idea was to use the new trarthus merc glove mod for minion fire converted to chaos with Minion instability. SRS of enormity is probably the best minion to work with MI right now. To make this work, we need either maligaro's lens or some - minion res gloam ring with fortress covenant for increased damage taken. So far so good. Add infernal legion and our Minion should die fairly quickly. Like under half a second or so. Now how do i pump them out.

Spell Echo/Unleash - Self cast felt pretty horrible to consider.

Cyclone + trigger is what i settled for, although CWC felt very slow since our minions die much quicker than the trigger rate. Cast on Crit is probably good, but wed have to give up 2 links for this and we already have a dead Infernal legion link to make this work.

Here comes our lord and savior Seven Teachings, with an unlinked 0.25 sec cd trigger on unarmed melee crit. Ok great, now how do we melee crit. The body gives us upto 7% base crit. We still need to accuracy cap, crit cap and get a good bit of attack speed to make it feel ok.

Accuracy:

We arent using a weapon so hits cant be evaded crafted mod isnt an option, and speccing into accuracy on this mess of a build is too much to handle, so we just get lycosidae to fix this instantly. Less worrying here, more with the other aspects.

Crit:

with a base 7% crit chance from the body and another 2% with increased crit support, we have a respectable 9% base crit. We can do brittle boots for another 2%, but im not a fan of walking into something before the trigger happens, so i just chose the easier route of using a Ungils Harmony for the massive upto 420% increased crit chance. At this point i realised this is 100% a mageblood build, because looking at what we have so far, i have no hopes of res capping and the mageblood also helps us with the last bit of crit chance with a diamond flask. Wait, this is still not enough. Ok new plan, get a elder helmet with socketed attacks have +base crit. Ok now we are crit capped.

Attack speed:

We need to keep in mind our trigger rate is capped at once every 0.25. To make this better we can use a bound by destiny for upto 20% cdr with 2 shaper items. So we already have a elder helmet, just get a double influence on it, and add a shaper influence somewhere else. Your call, i just chose the gloves because im lazy, but theres probably a better solution. We can also cdr on boots implicit (or explicit with shaper, probably better). We then grab spiritual Command and some attack speed here and there to match our break point.

Mana:

Theres no solution i could come up with here, our boots were already locked, so Omeyocan + Laviangas felt out of reach, and even then did not feel like it would work comfortably with Lavianga being such a short duration. We just use an enduring mana flask and anoint replenshing remedies to sustain charges. Its not 100%, but around 80% i think? its the best i could come up with. We also take a lot of cost reduction on the tree and a -cost geodesic ring (ideally would be a ~-15 misted crafted ring but that seems out of my budget) We also get the mana cost converted to life mastery.

Surviving:

Now heres the hard part. Actually surviving while doing this. Infused channelling gives us generic damage reduction which should be up all the time. So its a shoo in for our 4th link in the helmet with cyclone.

Im just a huge fan of the new flesh and stone getting 19% less damage from nearby enemies is nice, especially on melee builds like cyclone.

We can get the intelligence increases evasion with ghost dance and a jade flask to get a decent evasion rating. We can add Grace to help this further.

We use mageblood to res cap with bismuth and amethyst. We get a good chunk of chaos res from occultist too, so that helps.

We use the glorius vanity to help us get a usable ES pool while splitting the damage between ES and Life

We need some good pair of boots to fix our freeze + chill problems, but we kinda also need an abyss socket and this is the only place we can get it outside the tree. This frees us from Brine King, which feels like a waste since we are stun immune on occultist when we have ES. Speaking of, how do we sustain.

Sustain:

Grab F&F from necromancer for minion damage leeched as life. We get Life from death notable on cluster for 4% life regen when a minion dies recently (which is always). So all damage we take is split between life and mana, and our mana costs are also split between life and mana. We have 2 options here, we can get Ghost reaver to make the leech apply to ES, or get zealots Oath and make the regen apply to ES. I chose zealots oath, because of all the leech mechanics it seems the better option.

Merc:

Im in favour of using a Blade caster merc with Aspect of the spider, and deck them out with fenumus shroud for the -res and damage reduction. Standard Kaoms belt + Leer Cast + Shapers seed to help out a bit.

We still have a 40% mana reservation free, we can blasphemy the despair, or try to corrupt the ungils for an additional curse (need to watch for attributes) to get a defensive enfeeble or temp chains, or just let it chill.
