Potential pets for small apartment

I (26M) recently got my own apartment. Its about 425 sq.ft. in size, and im starting to feel the isolation. I want to get a pet, but I dont know if I feasibly could with the size and my time allowance. I out of the house for 9 hours for work which would make it hard to show attention to social pets, and because of the size I think it might be difficult to provide proper enrichment. If you have any advice for a pet that might handle these conditions, advice for how you would make something like this work, or any other tips id greatly appreciate it!
