Pet Crohn’s peeve: When someone says, “ooh are you hungry?” when your guts make a noise in a meeting 🤬

What I want to say: “No Shirley*, as you know (cos I’ve told you many times) I’ve got Crohn’s disease! Thanks for highlighting my embarrassing bodily functions that I have zero control over in front of the whole team!”

What I actually say: “haha, no I’m fine, sorry haha” (whilst secretly dying of embarrassment, and hating Shirley*).
