Had my first gig last Saturday

Hey, a few days ago, I (M33) posted here that I was about to have my first gig at a farewell party for a couple friends who are going to live abroad.

And it was AWESOME. I had an incredible time and I really think everyone really enjoyed it a lot as well (at least most of people told me so).

Initially I had a two hour set, but it was going so well that we extended the night for another hour. I was exhausted by the end (wasn’t prepared for the extra hour, so had to improvise a lot).

People were crazy about it and a lot of them reached me by the end saying that they couldn’t believe it was my first set.

So, my recommendation is: just go for it. Look for a friend’a party, ask to play and don’t hold yourself for your age or anything like it. Rehearse but also read the room and have a good time! Thanks for all the support and tips!
