PVP Gaming communities are in the worst state I've ever seen. Anyone care to explain their reasoning why?

I've been video gaming since before online gaming. Every since 2001, I've strictly been a hardcore PVP gamer. Primarily PC. I feel like 99% of every single match I join either has an IDIOT, a Filthy Casual, or a Cheater in it.

I can't be the only one noticing this trend?!

Mini map awareness is near non-existent. Game sense and coordination with teammates is down the drain without a "team leader" and even then there's always 1 or 2 players each round that have no idea how to coordinate/strategize with their own intellect.
