Site says a new atm/debit card is coming, but I don’t have checking account

I don’t have a checking acct with citi. But when I log in, I get a notice that a new atm/debit card is headed my way. I tried to call customer service just one time, and they acted like they didn’t even understand the words I was saying. I know from previous experience that the customer service is bad. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe it’s just a technical glitch? I have credit monitoring , and haven’t received any notices from that company.
