There should be a different word for people with less serious disabilities.
Just recently, I was hanging out with someone (mid-twenties) with terminal illness. They've had this condition since they were very young. Anyway, sometimes I talk about my condition (epilepsy) with other people. I never do it intentionally around this person as if I'm trying to get them to say, ''Yeah, having epilepsy is totally the same as having a terminal condition.'' It's just that I talk about it with abled people equally. But recently I realised that it makes them feel uncomfortable, kind of like they're like ''That's not the same thing.'' Which I'd agree with. I don't think that I'd never in a billion years understand what the hell this person has experienced. Anyway, tbh, I think there needs to be different words for people like me and somebody who has an extremely serious disorder. Because today, there is this weird blurred line that exists between these two groups. Literally just like people with ADD and people with parkinsons are the same shit.
