Want to microdose but cannot legally

I live in a red state that is pretty far away from making psilocybin legal. I’d love to microdose to help with my MDD and anxiety but I’m a mom and terrified my kids would be taken away. Is anyone else in this situation? I would just love to be able to manage my treatment resistant depression and not have such a dark outlook on life anymore.
