Why do some of the posts here have no insulation on the earth/ground cable in the switchboard?
So I'm still learning and doing my pretrade and I'm in NZ but Ive noticed posts/online content of switchboards where the earth/ground conductor has no insulation. Here we keep the insulation on for all cables/flex unless terminating so I'm curious what the reasoning is behind having that conductor with no insulation.
