Sikh birth rate
The Sikh birth rate is very poor. Our total population today is 26 million. 24 million live in India and have a pathetic birth rate of 1.6 per woman. Probably similar in the west where I've seen many cousins and friends not getting married or just decided to have one kid. Or get married outside of the community. Replacement level is 2.1. 1.6/2.1 × 26 million = 19.8 million in just one generation.
We are a materialistic flashy kaum these days.
I worry about the future of my kids.
Demographics is destiny. And we will pay for this. Sikhs always think about a problem when it is too late.
