Why do you care so much about what kind of starseed you are or what your freckles say about what star system you come from?
It seems so silly to me. Not in the sense of it being weird, I don’t think it’s weird at all actually. I think it’s the exact same as normal human trend following and validation seeking. Like the same thing as posting a picture of your name brand shoes on Instagram to signal that you’re a part of the “in crowd”. Just dressed up in shallow spiritual aesthetic. It just seems wild that there’s so much positive work we could be doing (if there is genuine truth to our mission). But instead we waste time jerking each other off about what kind of freckles we have and making up lore about alien civilizations that can’t be proven and is completely irrelevant to life on earth. It’s shameful imo. And to each their own I guess, if this is what you guys think is meaningful then have at it. But the reason it bothers me so much is it actively undermines spiritual work and other important aspects of our mission like outreach.
Imagine a rational person who gets curious about these concepts and then comes to this sub to investigate and all they see is a bunch of selfies and people talking about birthmarks and obsessing over their identities and other things that sound completely delusional. (Not saying what’s real or what isn’t, just pointing out that the way a lot of people speak on complete unknowns in this sub as if they are entirely certain does sound delusion). Do you think that reflects our mission in an authentic or productive way?
Genuine question. I’m not here to judge anyone but I think we are in need of some serious self-reflection and grounding. None of this is productive. It’s borderline spiritual psychosis imo, and I don’t say that to judge but bc it’s genuinely fucking concerning to me. This isn’t a joke. I’ve seen multiple people whom I love completely lose their minds going down these types of paths. It’s not healthy, especially when it goes completely unchallenged.
