/uj I heavily disagree with the rankings here myself (except the Crait "duel" between Luke and Ben, I'd absolutely have that in S tier or maybe high A tier. I'd also put the Death Star II duel at the top of S tier), but I already know people are gonna treat this like OP kicked George Lucas' dog lmfao.

P.S., If I had to rank these duels from worst to best myself, I'd say

Worst-
Obi-Wan vs Grievous
Rey vs Ben (TRoS)
Council vs Sidious
Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Dooku (AoTC)
Rey and Ben vs Guards (TLJ)
Yoda vs Dooku
Old Ben vs Vader (ANH)
Rey vs Ben (TFA)
Yoda vs Sidious
Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Dooku (RoTS)
TIED: Anakin vs Obi-Wan + Luke vs Ben on Crait (both equally loved for opposite reasons)
Luke vs Vader on Bespin
Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul
Luke vs Vader on the Death Star II
-Best

I know the tie seems like a cop out, but I kept going back and forth on which I prefer. I know Duel of the Fates over Bespin might get me flamed a little (which is completely fine), I nearly put those two duels at a tie as well.

Lastly, I also have the TFA duel as high as it is (and could even put it higher) because I think it has some of the best lighting and great characterization too with Finn and Rey having their heroic moments. I think that duel and the DS II both have by far the best lighting of any duel in the saga.

I'm sure the responses to this were very rational and foward-pushing of fandom discourse
