R6 MII Micro freezes when trying to autofocus?

Hey all! I have an R6 MII that I have had 0 issues with for a long while. However, today my EF 70-200mm f/2.8 got delivered. I popped it on and noticed that when I half press to autofocus, the view screen micro-freezes while it focuses. Then, I tried my EF 24-70mm and at first it seemed to do the same then sort of adjusted itself and didn’t really do it. Is this a normal thing with EF lenses like the 70-200 on an rf cam? Or is this an issue. Thanks!
