Signs your wireless G502 is crapping out?
I spent all morning trying to figure out why my PC was stuttering/lagging, only to come to the conclusion my mouse might be dumping out. I have a giant Arozzi mouse pad and the cursor seems to only start stuttering/lagging where I generally use the mouse the most. I plugged the receiver into my old PC on the desk directly behind me and it was fine there, until I tried it from the spot on my normal gaming table - which made me think maybe the mousepad needs to be cleaned. I put a fresh mousepad on top of it and the glitching continued which make me think it's some kind of wireless interference (which just started today). Tried my wired G502 in the spot I thought was maybe dirty and it worked fine. Never had any wireless interference issues, and nothing has changed in this room.
I guess I'm just curious if its possible to experience a sudden wireless interference in a particular spot as a potential sign that I need a new mouse - considering I tried a fresh mousepad placed in that spot which didn't help, and a wired mouse that had no stuttering issues. The mouse has been slowly breaking down physically, the middle mouse button wobbles, and clicking it makes it use the side mouse wheel button (pushing the wheel to the right) so I need a new one anyways. Has anyone experienced anything similar, or have any success fixing the issue? I don't game enough to justify a new mouse at the moment as I've been getting by fine. Thanks.
