Teachings of Damien Echols?

When I was going through my cancer treatment. I chose to explore my spirituality a bit and came across Damien Echols and his story.

I read over his books and took some of his teachings and used it to help me get to remission.

I used most of the meditative exercises, but very little of what he's preaching sticks.

Is there any credibility to what he teaches beyond his meditative stuff? I approach his High Magick teachings a little skeptical. And I know he's read over Crowley's works, but Crowley himself was questionable.

Either way, is there any merit to his High Magick teachings?
