Charles Smith – A Life Rebuilt
After the fall of the Van der Linde gang, Charles Smith disappeared into the northern frontier, far from bounty hunters and lawmen. He crossed into Canada or settled near the border, choosing isolation over conflict.
There, he found a new beginning. He built a life among a peaceful community made up of Native tribes and settlers, reconnecting with his roots and the values that had always guided him. Charles married, had children, and slowly shaped a life of balance, honesty, and peace.
He became a respected figure — not for violence, but for his wisdom, strength, and his ability to live in harmony with nature. He taught young people how to hunt, to protect the land, and to live with dignity, becoming a quiet leader within his community.
Though he left the violence behind, he never forgot what he lived through. He remains alert, cautious, and ready to act if his family or his people are threatened.
Charles represents the true spirit of redemption — not a man trying to erase his past, but one who transformed it into something better.
