What's the catch on Carmax's 24 hour test drive?
I'm interested in getting into a Tesla M3 or MY now that used prices have started to fall to a somewhat reasonable amount.
If I walk up and ask to take one out on a test drive, what's the catch?
Do I need to provide anything other than my ID for a 30-60 min test drive? And I think I read that the 24 hour needed proof that I had current insurance that would cover it?
And it's really no obligation to buy, but isn't that kind of the case anywhere? You're not obligated to buy a car just because you test drove it. Or are they saying they go above and beyond that and don't even bug you about buying it whatsoever?
