New to Villa and to Prem, Where do I Start?

I have started my football journey from across the pond following Frankfurt and Bayern Munich with my German family, but Bundesliga is so much harder to watch in the states compared to Prem so I’ve decided I want to choose a team. I have tried to become a Chelsea fan and was bored out of mind with their corporate feel, and decided I need to root for a team with a bit more identity. I described it as needing team with a grit city that hates the posh Londoners and drinks a lot of beer, resembling my passion for Detroit sports. My friend pointed me in the direction of Aston Villa describing them as a team that has emerged in the last few years as a staple near the top of the standings. Likable team, would be a good bandwagon to join. Players to watch: Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins. The powder blue jerseys are also just so sexy, I am interested in becoming a Villa fan!

So I want to give this a shot. Where should I start? I need a crash course on Villa and the Prem so I can really launch myself in the football world and watch the 25/26 with you Villans!
