Do I need a VPN for JDownloader 2?

I want to get GTA 4/IV: The Complete Edition Repack, but I'm scared of getting a copyright infringement letter. I also don't want to torrent for the same reason. So I'm using links from fuckingfast.co. Does anyone know what to do?
