stolen drivers license/ lost passport - any hope of being able to fly?

My DIL's purse was stolen last night and she is currently searching for her passport - without much luck... We are supposed to fly out of SDF Thursday evening. Does anyone know if there is any chance she would be able to fly if all she has is her work id? ...still hoping she finds the passport...
