Who Am I?

who am I?

Newborn rays of a sun.

Each in a different direction.

Yet, they reach the ground. They die.

They are forgotten. Replaced by new children

of the shining star.

who am I?

a plant in the middle of a field. one of

hundreds. one of thousands. one of millions

Yet, it rises, up to the sky. Tries to outgrow

everything and everyone. But when the end

reaches their existence, they are hopeless agaist the

cold claws of death.

who am I?

I am life. A star that might not shine through another

night. A dream that might soon end. Deceiver of many,

master of none. I am life.
