Transferring Companion Voucher Query

Hi everyone, quick query: I have a BA companion voucher, and I have a household account which includes my two sons. Can my sons use the companion voucher even though the companion voucher is registered in my name? If not, could I technically book a trip with one of the sons using the voucher, and then do a name change on the flight ticket to the other son? (As a way of getting around the rules)
