Any non-GC aliens (i.e. L1/H1B) got their AFL/CPL "cancelled" due to visa expiring?
Had this conversion regarding CPL in king county courthouse today. Staff was nice but I think their enforcement on a "valid visa" is getting wild (i.e. "valid visa" != "valid immigration status" for the context). I have a valid H1B visa stamp and it's expiring later this year. The lady warned me they will have to "revoke" my AFL/CPL once my visa expires. Is this an automatic process? I don't mind renewing my visa stamp for the sake of renewal but I don't want to do the whole AFL/CPL applications again long before they expire and potentially deal with all the "firearms transfer without AFL" bureaucracy BS. So is it possible for them to cancel my AFL/CPL if the expiration date says otherwise or should I notify them for new stamping before the current one expires?
