Going to try and make this short, just looking for some opinions. Had this xray today after complaining of pain and sensitivity on my newly placed crown on #29. I just had this placed on 7/29/25 after 2 failed crown fittings. I had multiple issues with all the temps they made and had to get a gingivectomy after the second crown had “open margins”. Dentist is saying #30 looks like it is infected again and possibly impacting #29 but that both crowns fit fine and I need to see Endodontist again. 

Some backstory:

I had a root canal on #29 June 2024, crown was placed and I notified the dentist my Invisalign retainer no longer fit. I had just finished my Invisalign may 2024. He said to “keep trying” and ultimately made me a new retainer. Fast forward to January 2025, that dentist left the practice, I went in complaining of pain to #29. Dentist said it wasn’t that tooth and it was actually #30 was infected and needed to see endo.

I saw endodontist and had #30 root canal retreated in March 2025. He said #29 May need new crown/retreat and #30 possible new crown after retreat. Dentist said no new crown needed just did filling after the root canal was retreated.

TLDR: does it look like #30 is infected and how do you think the crowns look? Thank you if you read everything. It’s been a long year dealing with this two teeth and honestly wish I could pull both.
