sertraline making me completely sedated and unable to move

hi i need to know if this is normal?? i started sertraline a few days ago, i was prescribed 50mg but got scared of starting on that dose so split the tablets in half for the first few days. i took 4 days of 25mg and had no side effects but on the fourth day i was completely knocked out around 1-2 hours after i took it. i couldn’t stay awake and felt so fatigued for hours and could barely move from the sofa. today i took the full 50mg and the same thing happened again - i was completely sedated, fell asleep for 2 hours (i was very tired today as well because i went back to work) and then was barely able to move on the sofa for the next 3 hours after that. i’ve seen people say sertraline causes fatigue but ive not seen many people talk about it completely sedating them? im not sure what to do. last week i was started on citalopram and took one 20mg tablet of that and experienced the sedation so badly i even felt it the next day which is why i was switched to sertraline. am i just really sensitive to ssris? if the 25mg keeps sedating me like that i just feel like i can’t continue because im not functional like that

has anyone else experienced this?
