thinking of being a private candidate for a2

hii so im currently giving AS exams this o/n. and im considering being a private candidate due to some issues with school (not that serious). and im not sure if it is a right thing to do as ive seen some posts seeing private candidates is not so good. and ive weighed the pros and cons for it. more pros than cons but im still confused if i would regret this decision. can you guys tell me if being a private candidate

2. made you procrastinate alot more
3. board exams
4. practicals
5. what would you recommend personally
