my aunt said something that upset me, just wanna vent
ok so i don't wanna write a lot, but i was having dinner with my family, and my aunt said something upsetting. basically, my cousin accidentally said "im a boy" instead of his name (its a bit hard to explain cuz my family speaks russian, but basically 'boy' and his name starts with the same letter.)
anyway- after he said that my aunt said "thank god you're not one of those people who don't know who they are" or smth like that, implying she's grateful that he's not non-binary, or any other gender.
i myself am cis, but im a lesbian and now im even more scared to come out. idk if my family is homophobic.
(i hope this isn't too confusing)
