Air dot show NY, best seating?

Questions for anyone who has been to this show or airfield (Orange County).

Going to plan to go to my first air show with my kids. I’m stuck between buying the preferred seating or the general admission with bring your own chairs. I’m assuming general admission is first come first serve. They are young, so I’m thinking having some leg room in general admit would be better. But I’m not sure how busy or how much space is available.

Would appreciate any insight or advice if anyone has had the experience!
