feeling hopeless
vent incoming!!
i (17m) am moving away to college later this month and i just feel absolutely hopeless. i dont really have any goals for my future other than "go to college, get a degree, maybe get a job", and i only have those goals because its what other people expect of me.
i've been trying to learn how to drive as well, but i keep making a lot of mistakes. i know that im just starting and im going to keep making mistakes as i learn, but it's seriously been taking a toll on my mental health. :( i feel as if i cant do anything right, and when i do manage to make progress, i immediately hit another wall and start making a bunch more mistakes right after. its really exhausting and its leading me to wonder if my future is just going to be full of pain and failure and depression.
im trying to keep my hopes up but its really difficult when it feels like all im doing is leading me down a path of regret and shame for not being able to match up to everyones expectations for me. idk hopefully in college itll get better. thanks for reading this post if you did, and take care of yourself 🫂
