Chipotle Pay

Are people getting paid differently for the same position in the same store or city? I've seen some people post here that they are finding out new hires are making significantly more for the same job.

I understand there is a big disparity based on location, for example crew in Seattle starts at +$20/hr while FL can be as low as +$12/hr, was more wondering if there is standardized pay on a local level or if managers have discretion to give different pay. Full disclosure I don't work at Chipotle but I've collected the pay of roughly 30 Chipotle jobs and am trying to understand the pay of all types of hourly jobs at https://wagewiz.net.

How is everyone figuring out if you're being paid compared to your coworkers? Do you guys talk about it?
