Why is my dad a sarcastic jerk about my crush?

It's so annoying! I'm high-functioning autistic, and I can handle a lot, but my dad's sarcasm is just too much sometimes. It's like he doesn't get that it's not a joke to me. I'm trying to talk to him about this girl I like, and how I'm hoping she'll reply to my message, but he just gets loud and says, "Okay, sounds good!"

It's not just a crush; it's a social situation, and I have a harder time with those. When he's sarcastic, it makes me feel like he's making fun of me for even trying. He thinks that because I'm "high-functioning" and can communicate, I should be able to handle this stuff with no problem. But it's not that simple. I struggle with social cues and understanding how people feel, so his "jokes" just make me feel even more isolated. I just want him to listen and give me some genuine advice, not treat my feelings like a joke.
