transferring bitcoin out of CashApp question (regarding priority fees vs standard)

I've read here on the bitcoin subreddit that transferring btc using CashApp's "Standard" free transfer is a bad idea, and I'm not sure why. Is it always better to use Priority or Rush and pay a small fee to the miners? Why would I want to pay a fee, when I don't have to?
