Touch inputs not working in game (wii u)

im trying to use wii U moonlight + a ds emulator to play some ds games on my tv, the problem is that the gamepad touchscreen will click just fine on pc menus, but will not work on the actual emulator touchscreen portion. I can use the touchscreen to setup, and run the emulator but not to control it. Is there a way to fix this?
