Am I the only one who...

I have a job but no family or close friends nearby. I only get to talk to people socially at work. Those 40 hours a week are the only time I'm around or interact with others.

Does anyone else deal with this weird type of lonely? I have banal chit-chat with people at work but no one to really have discussions with. I miss that a lot.
