Day 8 post opt

Day 7 hit me hard I didnt have any pain medication until that evening due to insurance issues...

Day 8 post opt- so much easier with pain medication. Im having spikes of pain(8 to 9/10) when the scab starts to move and peel or dissolve and then nothing, no pain until I start eating then its around a 3 or 4. I was able to have eggs, broth and pancakes today. My throat doesnt feel as tight either so I was actually speaking, it hurts like hell and some words arent coming out right. I still have a massive amount of scabs on the one side. My doctor has me on bed rest until Friday but I wandered around my house a little today. I think I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
