Removing request for mods from r/redditrequest from Community Highlights
Hello,
I just became a moderator of a community for the first time. I took over an abandoned community that has been inactive for 8 years and I am very excited to resurrect it and turn it into a useful resource for all users.
My question:
At the top of my community, there is a message from r/redditrequest calling for mods (that’s how I was able to take over). However, I do not want more moderators. If at all possible, I would like to run my group solo.
How can I remove this message? It has a lock emoji on it and there doesn’t seem to be a way to archive it. How can I prevent others from becoming moderators alongside me? I would greatly prefer to work alone. Not sure if this is possible. There’s no ill intent here; I just work best solo and I want to run the group my way.
Thanks! 🙏
