Can SolidWorks 'Split Line' Feature Translate into ANSYS ????

Wanting to do as much simplification in SolidWorks as possible. Which also means creating split lines and using those areas as connection points. Is there a trick or way that the split lines can be passed throuhg into ANSYS geometry/Discovery/Model???? So far the split lines are dissapearing. Please any help or answers would be greatly appreciated.
