What’s matching to the US like for Canadian citizens who graduated from Irish medical school?

Hey guys I’m a Canadian citizen and have no citizenship to the states. If I graduate from an Irish med school and take the USMLES and take American electives can I match to the states a lot easier than matching back to Canada? Or am I disadvantaged? I want to do family medicine or internal if that means anything.
