2017 Outback Microphone not working after windshield replacement

Hi! My mother has a 2017 Subaru Outback, just had the windshield replaced. I checked it out myself- I don't think the microphone is working. She can call using her head unit, but the call automatically transfers to her phone as if she doesn't have a working microphone. Any ideas for a quick fix? Perhaps they forgot to re-enable something? Or should we just call the person who installed it? (Works for a body shop. Not a hack job I promise.)
