ERAS RESEARCH
Hello everyone!
I’m preparing my ERAS application and have a question regarding a research project. Early in med school I worked with a physician to publish a couple case reports. One of these case reports was a case the physician had previously published in 2 or 3 other journals. We did eventually publish our new report in another journal citing the previous reports and using new pictures. The editor of the journal was made aware of the previous reporting but was still ok with publishing. But, I am wondering if there is some sort of ethical dilemma with the publication of same case?
I would rather not list the case report on my ERAS if so. Would appreciate any feedback, thank you!
