I made an ARG. How long should I wait before people start investigating it thoroughly?

Maybe it's not self-promotion, but I made an ARG on a Gmod map (I'm not going to give you the link because of rule 3), and I'm waiting for people to start investigating it. Maybe I'm the most impatient man in the world, but I'm making a new version of the map and no one has noticed the existence of the ARG. Maybe it's turning into self-promotion, but I want to know what the process of discovering an ARG is like and how long it takes to find one.

I look forward to your responses.
