A “satisfied” small claims judgement: will it affect future medical employment?

I was sued in small claims court by a nanny from hell. I found out today that the judge in this court rendered a judgment against me for part of the sums the ex-nanny was requesting. My question is about how to proceed. If I “satisfy” the judgement and pay in full my understanding is that the civil lawsuit won’t show up on a credit report but would likely show up on a background check. How big of a deal is this? I am in a job that is ok but is definitely not my forever job and I was hoping to move jobs in the next 3-5 years. Any tips appreciated. Thanks!
