Metrobank Travel Visa Signature Annual Fee Waiver

Just wanted to share that it's possible to get an annual fee waiver for the Metrobank Travel Visa Signature since ang usual kong nababasa dito na con for it is that Metrobank doesn't waive AF charges

I was charged 5000 this month for the annual fee (I've only had the card since March but it was converted from an old card with an August renewal), so I called to ask if i can have it waived. They gave me the spiel na "the annual fee is a valid charge" but then they offered a conditional waiver naman— either spend 20K within 30 days or enroll a biller to an autodebit agreement. The only thing with conditional waivers is you'll have to pay for the annual fee first then have it credited back during the next billing cycle.

So far very happy with my Travel Visa Sig. Low conversion rate, fast accumulation of points/miles, eligible for simplified Korean visa application, and I got really good deals on flights and hotels during the two Metrobank Travel Fairs this year
