my parents wont let my boyfriend sleepover

im frustrated because i pay bills and pay for stuff for them/ the family my moms argument is that it wont look good on me but i dont understand because my ex girlfriend was literally going to move in with us which she said okay to which makes me think that my relationship with a woman was not taken seriously then i asked her if i could have a sleepover w a friend whos a guy and she said no the problem being that they are guys ? i swear its not anything other than a sleep over i also dont understand who itll look bad towards me? who will know i dont know i feel my whole life ive been sheltered to anything i dont even have any malicious intent
