How should I use Github?

Hello friends,

I am a community college student studying Computer programming and I'm gearing up for a convention that includes a job fair, I'm not really looking for anything right now but I do want to get a feel for the interview process.

To get to the point of my question, while building up a resume there was a space to add my Github. While I have one it's sparse, like I only have it as I helped a bit with a club website, are there any particular projects I can work on to beef it up a little or is there ai way I should structure it to better fit my ideal goal of game development?

Thanks again friends, I hope you have a great rest of your day.
