[WITH _TEETH] appreciation and a question.

I’m going back and listening to With Teeth and trying to see it in a different light. I’ve always felt like it was a mid album compared to the rest of NIN’s work but a mid NIN album is still way better than most artists’ best efforts so I’ve always liked With Teeth but have also always expected more from that album.

A friend tried to get me into NIN with this album and it didn’t work. Later I got into NIN through The Fragile.

I’m slowly gaining a new appreciation for this album. It won’t be my favorite album but I like it more with each listen instead of just choosing a couple of songs to listen to from it every now and then.

But….. I still don’t like the song With Teeth. I hate the “With-a Teeth-a!” Like nine inch nails on a chalkboard. And I feel that it’s an overall boring song.

So if you happen to like it I would like to know what you’re hearing and what it means to you. What keeps you coming back to the song? And what are your favorite moments from the album?
