Darwin- Whats the criteria to apply for visa as a student ??

So my friend moved to Darwin to get PR when she will finish her study in 3 years. And it was a 3 years course. But I’ve also heard you are eligible to apply for PR even if you study for 2 years.

I’m studying Nursing in Sydney and want to move to Darwin in my second year. I want to know if it’s worth it as I don’t have a valid source of information. I will also ask my consultancy but I want to know about your experiences too.

Can I apply for PR in 2 years if I go to Darwin?
